HOLIDAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YAY! As the title suggests im now on holidays. This means no study etc until the start of March! Got a heap of shit to do these hols and poker is certainly priority. Just played a pretty brutal 2k hands session. Managaed to win 1.5 buy ins but my game feels a bit rusty at the moment. Just can't seem to run good for an extended period: whenever i win a pot it is closely followed by a loss. Im now about 12 buy ins below equity at NL10. :(

Anyway here's the current stats: on like a 5k hand breakeven stretch which is a bit gay. I was much more profitable at NL5. After 11,667 hands i have won a petty $122. 37 (5.24bb's) which really is shiteeee. I suppose i haven't been playing my best so this probably accounts for it.
Gonna stick at it anyway (provided my roll doesn't drop below $200). The roll is currently $269.

wow that was horrible.

i kn

just played a 500 hand session and ran like fucking shit. lost a bit over 4 buy ins. Reallllllly annoyed. Such retarded players out there and they just fucking caught everything. Roll is back to $239

http://www.pokerhand.org/?3503892 - an absolute beauty. I squeeze with AQ after a bunch of limping. get one caller who initially limped so i figure him for mid range pocket or suited connectors etc. We see a flop of 663 rainbow and he retardedly overbets $1.90 in the $1.40 pot. At this point i think he probably has something like 45, maybe pockets between 22, 44, or 55 and maybe 77, 88, 99 at a maximum. I elect to shove, hoping he will figure me for a big pair and fold. Instead he calls and tables 5 Fucking 7 for a gutter. hits the 5 on the turn and there we have it.

http://www.pokerhand.org/?3503907 Just a generally annoying/ tiltish hand. I elect to see a flop in position with a hand that cna flop very well. I flop two pair and basically figure him to have a strong ace. instead he flops the second nuts. FUCK

http://www.pokerhand.org/?3503913 this guy was a fucking raging donk. I really wasn't too hesitant to get it in on this flop. Naturally i have the best of it but he counterfeits me. Great!

http://www.pokerhand.org/?3503917 this hand i guess i played poorly. Needed to 3 bet preflop. The flop itself gave me tptk and i decided to get a bit tricky. I was hoping he was bluffing with his faggot min flop raise and then i'd let him hang himself on the turn. Guess not.

that was the gist of it. Obviously im going to leave Poker until i've finished my exam and just view this as a shitty session. Not much i can do.

Mostly exams but still some poker!

Had 2 exams yesterday: psychology & distribution decisions (logistics, supply chain management etc). Both were ok. Got another one on business communication in about 2.5 hours.
On the poker front haven't played a great deal, just trying to keep the roll ticking upwards. It's now $237 which is pretty much peak. Can't wait to finish my exams on the 28th and start grinding seriously. One of my first goals as i have mentioned is to play 10k hands in one day If i 10 table it should take me around 13 hours. Some mild gaming

Unfortunately i lost that other little roll i had. Got it up to $26 but ran like death and it got flushed. My brother owed me like $40 so i told him to send the equivalent amount in USD on stars. This equalled ~$27 so i began grinding again at 1c/2c on Thursday night. It is now saturday night and i've managed to play a bit over 5k hands.

combining my total grinding since October 17th, things seemed to be going in the right direction. Unfortunately i withdrew my roll around the 14.7k hand mark because i needed to pay for some stuff. Hopefully i will be able to leave this rol online and girnd it up after exams.

Training

Went to the gym today and went for a jog this evening. Ran a familar 6.8 km route in about 38 minutes. Im just getting back into running and previously i could do this in 30 minutes so hopefully i can get back to full fitness soon. Currently im weighing 83kgs so im gonna try eat super well for the next few weeks and drop down to 80kg's.

On the poker fronti found 53c in my party poker account so i decided i would try run it up. Sat at the only table that would allow such a miniscule buy in: 5/10c limit holdem and managed to get to $1. Next i visited blackjack, put it all on the line and doubled to $2. This gave me a min buy in for the 2c/4c nl holdem table. Managed to get this up to $6 so i played one of party's $6 sng's. haha managed to win this which took my total upto $10.29 (party take a huuge cut). Have withdraw this amount and will deposit it on stars and try do what i did earlier in August with the $11 tourney dollars which i spawned into over $300! gogogogo

Changes

As i said last post im going to stop poker just for November so i can focus on exams etc. Overall October was good:

- Did play a little bit more since last post :D

i cashed out my roll and have payed for a bunch of things (tax, rates etc). Also have a bit left over to spend on myself. I played poker at the casino on Friday night as well. Blinds are $1/$2 with $80 buy in. Managed to run absolutely card dead the entire night and my stack dwindled to about $35. Decided to get a bit mroe aggressive and made some good bluffs (including a lol $10 bet on the river of a $60 pot against a bunch of woeful players). The board originally gave straight and flush opportunies but the turn and river bricked so i decided to have a shot. They both folded and i tabled 5 high. Ended up getting to about $110 and quitting.

Anyway, im going to continue to update this blog with my fitness training regime throughout November. I've been injured but am going to start jogging again so i will blog stuff on this as a personal motivator for myself.

Goodluck with poker in November! I will be hitting the tables at around the start of December with a vengeance!
