up and down, but mostly up!

Played about 900 hands now and have brought the roll upto around $70. Unfortunately my pokertracker is a bit buggy so it is only reporting a $10.25 profit. Hopefully i can try play about a 1000 more hands in the next 3 days.

On the bonus front i now have 88 out of the 400 required FPP's. At this level (NL5) the bonus cleares extremely slowly, given that few pots warrant a rake. However if i keep playing well hopefully i can reach my target figure of $200 quicker and start dabbling at NL10.

Fresh start

Had to take the money of tower to pay for a new passport. Pulled out $180 from there so i managed to make a small profit.

I've decided to make a fresh start on pokerstars. In general i plan to play ultra micro stakes (nl5) and just try refresh myself on the basics. Starting with $50, im challenging myself to try first get to $200 (which would give 20 buy ins for nl10). Obviously this may take a while. To help myself achieve this and to improve the overall learning process im limiting myself to an absolute maximum of 5 tables at a time.

I think one of my greatest problems in the past was trying to play too many tables at once. Even though i thought i was playing my A game, i was definitely missing out on a lot of opportunities caused by having to rush etc. I really want to focus on bet sizing and trying to get the maximum pay off from my hands based on what i expect my opponents range to be.

Long term goals:

1. Play 2k hands a week

2. run at atleast 8bb/100 hands

3. Reach $200 by start of September.

4. Quit if i lose greater than 3 buy ins or if im feeling tilty (one of my big problems!)

5. clear stars bonus (a whopping $20!) - need 350 more points.

I am back on holidays and after a long break have decided to try my hand again at poker. I deposited $130 on wednesday and have been playing on Tower poker. At the moment the roll is $166. Early days but hopefully i can get something rolling.
