Time to focus on exams!

I made the executive decision this afternoon to cash out my remaining roll. I played a few sng's and ran bad which seemed to help the decision be made. :)

In total i have cashed out $275, about $30 from my peak but still a lot more than i started with back on the 10th of October. I haven't been playing too much poker but decided that its better to be safe than sorry. All those moments when im sitting on my comp with not much to do seem to be swallowed by poker or poker related stuff (watching videos etc). They should probably be directed towards studying, seeing as how i have exams starting 20th November.

Anyway im pretty sure im going to start a massive grind when i finish on the 28th of November. Gonna deposit $250 any play nl10. Hopefully i can be tearing up nl25 by christmas.

If anyone has any interest in staking me i'd be open to the idea. I post a lot in 2p2 strategy forums and am certainly not some scammer! Nothing would make me happier than profiting for someone else while also getting some cash for myself. Also, the fact that i will have uni holidays from 28th November to like the start of April means i can put in a ton of volume.

Cashing out some moneyz! :(

Decided to take advantage of the brilliant exchange rate and cashed out $140. This left me with $152 which i have increased to $161. Im going to play nl5 until i build my roll back to like $220. Unfortunately with exams etc coming up i probably won't be playing too much poker.

Overall having started my grind on October 10th with nothing more than 400 FPP's i feel this month has been good. I've played well and made a bit over $300, even though i've run well below equity at nl10. $300 US currently equates to around $500 AUD so for 17 days (13,258 hands) im very happy.

When my exams finish on Novermber 28th im going to commence a solid grind. haha one of my goals it to log a 10k hand day. Should be fun.

goot weekend

Has been a good weekend of poker thus far. Played some more nl10 and managed to win like 5 buy ins. 3 of these came from a hilarious session where some tilting donk shoved into my aces with j9 and into my queens with 44. Apparently he was just letting off steam from running bad at higher stakes. Either way its money for me!

Bankroll has increased to a tidy $292. Only shit thing is i may have to withdraw about $70 to pay my mobile bill. :(

Still running shit but making money

As the title suggests i'm still running bad. Numerous hand today weren't horrfic beats by any means by i really should be pulling them in. ie my KK all in against 10 9 on a 8 6 10 board, for villain to land a nice 7 on the river. This was quickly followed by my QJhh all in on a Kh5h9h against 99. Obv turn and river both came 7.

Speaking of KK i managed to dig up my performance with them so far vs my performance with AA. Really should be winning more with them after so many hands.

Anyway the grind will go on. Roll is now $239.

Started feeling really tilted so decided to log off. Roll was at $231 now is back $211. If i drop to $180 i'll go back to nl5.

Battling along.

Just finished a fairly solid 800 hand session of nl10 at Everest (solid by my standards). It's amazing how different the play is there compared to stars. Lots more calling of raises and aggressive play with marginal holdings. If you can run good and value town your hands you can make some good money thats for sure. Unfortunately i ran pretty shite :(

I cleared my $10 bonus there which combined with the rest of my roll brings it to a total of $227. Im withdrawing from Everest and heading back to Stars. Will probably take a few days to get there so i might have a bit of a rest from poker for the next 2 days.

Time to take a shot.

Played a small session last night and this morning, managing to pull in $25. Roll now stands at $190 so i've decided to have another 3 buy in shot at NL10. Hopefully i can stick it this time.

For now im going to go play tennis but will try play a minimum of 500 hands this evening or until i drop back to $160.

Fairly quiet weekend of poker

Had big nights on both Friday and Saturday and these combined with hangovers / beach sessions to get over the hangovers meant not too much poker got played. In total i've played about 7k hands with the vast majority at nl5. Roll currently stands at $165 after i played a few hu sng's.

Up and down day

Today started well and i managed to build my roll to around $147. I subsequently decided to give have a shot at nl10, full stacked. Over the next 550 hands i managed to lose 4 buy ins :(

This dropped my roll down to $107 so i closed the tables, took a break and resumed at nl5. Managed to recover a bit and the roll now stands at $134.75. Might wait till i hit $200 before i take any more shots. My stats for nl10 are obviously shit. However nl5 is looking the goods with 5.9k hands played and a $130.60 profit which means im running at 22bb/100 hands.

bit swongy bit still grinding

Encountered a bit of a rough patch but i seemed to have negotiated my way out of it. At one stage in my session yesterday i was down like 4.5 buy ins from my peak. My roll went from about $127 to $100 pretty quick. After about 2k hands iI eventually finished yesterday back at $110.

Today i've run better and the roll has climbed to $132. Just $18 more till i attack some nl10. Im debating whether i should hit Everest poker for a small bonus they have offered me. I remember the play being really fishy there.

slight hiccup but still crushing

Played almost 3000 hands now and have made around $81 from the cash tables. Really happy with my play and am running at 30bb/100 at nl5 after 2500 hands. Obviously im running well, but im also extracting max value from the donks at this level. I had a bit of a downswing around the 1700 hands mark but managed to bounce back pretty quick.

Roll is currently $110, so if i can win another $40 i'll start taking some shots at NL10 with 15 buy ins. If i lose 3 buy ins from that position i'll drop back to nl5.

LOL weekend poker

The weekend donks were definitely out in force over the past few days. I played few hu sng's (one $2.20, one $6.25 and one $11.50), winning the 2.20 and the 11.50. nl5 on stars was also good for a laugh and my roll now stands at $87. Im currently running like jesus: 37bb/100 hands over the last 1800 hands. EZ game.

lol rebuild

yeh had to cash out my last roll so all i was left with was 440 fpp's. Decided to play in a sunday 200k qualifier, 210 fpp buy in and top 6 out of 20 get entry. 1st one i played i busted out but second one i qualified. I decided to unregister however, and use the 11 T$ instead. I played a $6 sng and won, so i then fired up some more, winning more than i lost. This gave me $24 and i started a bit of a nl2 grind. Managed to win a bit, bringing the roll to $35. I then played some nl5 and the roll now sits at $57 :)

Another day another dollar.

Just played another session then, winning around 4 buy ins. Had one great hand against a massive donk which pulled me a nice $19.95 pot. http://www.pokerhand.org/?3284278

That hand is another reminder of why these stakes are so profitable. The guy calling my rr preflop with j9 is just inexcusable and his play on the flop is almost as bad. I was worried he might be getting silly with AA or that he flopped a set but generally in that situation the donk has something like 1010 or QQ.

After a frustrating mix up with Neteller i finally have money on pokerstars! I just logged my first session winning a little over 3 buy ins at nl5. I also playes a few little sng's and made a profit. Roll is now $73.67 making today a nice $23.67 day.
